Malwarebytes for Mac 5.6.0

Hey Mac community!

We're happy to share that our latest Malwarebytes for Mac 5.6.0 is now live.

What's new:

• A new scan reminder notification if no scan is run within 30 days, helping keep your device safe
• Product alerts and notifications in a Notifications section in the the status menu accessible through Malwarebytes logo icon
• New Notifications settings page in the app for customizing your notification preferences
• Updated General Settings are now part of the Settings page 

Issues fixed:

• Removed a red dot from the Malwarebytes icon in the dock that appeared when your Trusted Advisor score fell below 100%.
• Fixed an issue where our new status menu was only partially displayed to licensed users.
• Added country flags for new server locations in our VPN server location list.
• Miscellaneous bug fixes.

 

As usual, this update will be gradually released throughout the week for users with auto-updates settings enabled. You can also download and install it instantly at https://www.malwarebytes.com/mac-download, or manually check for updates by navigating to the Malwarebytes menu and selecting Check for updates.

If you're running Malwarebytes 5.4.1 or earlier, we recommend downloading and installing the latest version 5.6.0 directly from our website.

i noticed my mbam was updated because i saw a red dot, and thought something was wrong, but everything was ok. Thanks for the info on the new version
