Site throw an error by browser guard.

Recommended Posts

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. I understand how frustrating it can be when a site you frequently use is not functioning properly due to our browser blocker extension.

The reason you're experiencing this problem is that our extension is currently blocking certain domains, specifically

html-load.com

and

css-load.com

These domains have been identified as sources that may display or sideload ads without the user's knowledge. To maintain a secure and seamless browsing experience for all users, we have chosen to block these domains by default.

While it's possible for you to whitelist these domains locally in your settings, we generally do not recommend doing so. Allowing these domains may expose you to unwanted advertisements or other potentially intrusive content.

We appreciate your understanding and are here to help if you have any other questions or need further assistance.

If I turn it off, I'll be exposed to ads. Is this how it's supposed to work?

These sites are using anti-blocker tech on the sites.

Is there any other way?

You are only doing it on sites that use the same techniques to keep us from not having the ads.

Do I have to disable the browser guard's ad/tracker blocking feature just to use the website?
If so, how is that any different from turning off browser guard completely??

Turning it off completely will not protect you from other sites that are not forcing us to turn off ad blocking.

As more sites like this emerge, user inconvenience is likely to increase.

Possible solutions include

1. Enhancing browser guard's ad-blocking technology to resolve the issue.
2. Modifying Firefox's allow list feature.
3. Globally allowing html-load.com to eliminate inconvenience for users like myself.

For now, I'm not satisfied with browser guard's solution, so I plan to use adguard instead.

They bent over to the anti-adblocking company and do not block them anymore.
