lots of inbound connections and some outbound ones

hey all - i made a post a couple days ago and had my pc go through a whole array of checks though now im left with constant inbound connections. im not sure how to stop this.

Inbound blocks can be stopped by having a router between your internet provider's modem and your computer.

The blocks are on addresses that are attempting to do a forced attempt to exploit remote-desktop-protocol.

i dont have access to a router and my ISP is my university. so im unsure how to protect myself in the future. any tips?

Even using a University you can still add a Router between that connection and your computer that will stop inbound probes

Stop opening the door and allowing other into your system on purpose using P2P Torrenting software

 

 

The act of torrenting itself is not illegal. However, downloading and sharing unsanctioned copyrighted material is illegal, and there is always a chance of prosecution if caught by the authorities.
