Hi

I use Anyviewer for remote access support for many of my elderly customers used with my computer business for the last few years

I have recommended Malwarebytes to many of them however lately I am now unable to connect due to your recent block of this program

Previously this was not the case and it appears both the Anyviewer service and IP are now blacklisted / blocked

This is a real issue as although I understand the exclusion process its not possible to talk many of my customers through on how to set this up so I can help with any tech support

So unless I physically go to their homes / businesses to manually setup exclusions basically they are now cut off from support

You have denied them my help should they require it now ?

Are you now blocking all remote access programs because basically not all remote users are scammers some of us rely on these remote apps to help others   ?

log attached

regards

Steve

When the IP block is cleared and you update Malwarebytes, the service should work again.

ok thanks

I assumed it was 2 things that needed white listing

1. IP address

2.service / program executable

It will be a big relief for both myself and my many customers who I have recommended Malwarebytes and then found myself in a position whereby I can no longer support them remotely using  the Anyviewer remote access program I have used for a few years now previously with no Malwarebytes black listing

I will update if any issues going forward but hopefully now all has been resolved

Thank You
