HJT and MBAM logs

Recommended Posts

I suspect a virus issue (McAfee is officially useless) and ran a full malewarebytes scan. Dureing the scan I recieved "Error code: 722(0,9) several times follwed by a spontanious termination. Now I'm here. Pasted below are the HJT log and the 'quick scan' mbam log. I hesitate to do the full scan again for fear of termination again. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks. I did update mbam and was able to do a quick scan and a full scan without crashing. I did delete two files that were identified as suspect (I forget the exact designation). Now everything looks good but I am paranoid as H*** that there is a trojan file lurking. I'll print your suggested fix and try to stay on top of the system. My plan is to keep McAfee since it is there and suposed to be an active barrier (even if it is worhtless) but at the same time scan with mbam often (after turning McAfee off).

Thanks again,

-Mike

Hi,

Yes, McAfee is a powerful scanner, so that's why it's a good idea to keep it.

So in your case, you can indeed disable McAfee while running a scan with Malwarebytes and then enable it again. I always do the same as well since the scan goes faster if no other realtime scanner is active in the background :)
