Jahbait Posted September 9 ID:1660068 Share Posted September 9 I fell for a free cs 2 skin changer like a idiot and I downloaded the file this guy on discord sent me after i opened the file some cmd prompt popped up on my screen so I got suspicious of it and closed it out. and after 10 minutes the guy said that he put a boot kit on my bios and told me to pay 100$ to remove it. Of course I did not pay him but I have reset windows and ran the malwarebytes scan for root kits and nothing came up. I have not noticed anything out of the ordinary after resetting my pc is there anything I can do to make sure? Or am I all good. Someone please let me know
