You will have to disable the ad/ trackers feature to use any site that does the following.

The sites are using an anti-ad blocker on these sites to block ad blockers and Browase Guard is an ad blocker.

For an example.

Hi, enduring_096,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. I understand how frustrating it can be when a site you frequently use is not functioning properly due to our browser blocker extension.

The reason you're experiencing this problem is that our extension is currently blocking certain domains, specifically

html-load.com

and

css-load.com

These domains have been identified as sources that may display or sideload ads without the user's knowledge. To maintain a secure and seamless browsing experience for all users, we have chosen to block these domains by default.

While it's possible for you to whitelist these domains locally in your settings, we generally do not recommend doing so. Allowing these domains may expose you to unwanted advertisements or other potentially intrusive content.

We appreciate your understanding and are here to help if you have any other questions or need further assistance.

This issue also occurs because Malwarebytes doesn't use the same ad-blocking technology as AdGuard.

Both seeing ads and having the webpage break equally disrupt the user experience. However, it’s better to see ads than to have the webpage break.

Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your perspective. We understand that both ads and website functionality issues can be disruptive. Our goal is to provide a secure and smooth browsing experience, and we recognize that different users have different priorities. Our ultimate goal is to protect users from unwanted content.

Additionally, as mentioned before, it is possible for you to whitelist these domains locally in your settings if you want.

Thank you for your understanding!

I encountered the same issue. It appears that some CSS files are being loaded through html-load.com, which is not solely used for ads. If html-load.com is blocked, the CSS won't load properly. Unlike full domain blocking, ad blockers like Adblock Plus, AdGuard, uBlock Origin, and others typically use script filtering. Similarly, DNS filters such as 1hosts don't block the entire domain either. How about unblocking the domain and using AdGuard's scriptlet filter to ensure better experience?

We appreciate your suggestion, but Browser Guard utilizes its own set of rules and logic designed to ensure a high level of security and to protect users from potentially harmful content. Currently, we wouldn't be able to unblock specific domain, as our priority is to maintain the safety and integrity of the browsing experience for all users.

Again, thank you for your feedback and your understanding!
