Malwarebytes Browser guard 3.0.5 with Ublock lite slowdowns continue.

I'm still experiencing slowdowns with malwarebytes browser guard and ublock lite Appears the 2 in contrast could be conflicting with each other. Also youtube video's are very slow to load and still load advertisements at times. I'll submit my browser guard logs and system logs for diagnosis. 1.  possible conflict with ublock and slow loading webpages in general. 2. Videos pause on youtube and load slowly doesn't happen with the legacy version.

That is why I refuse to use a Chromium-based browser.

I know these versions are fairly new and could take abit to work out the kinks but these 2 are just not working well together like they
use to. My CPU is running at about 90% with both these extensions added. When I disable them it goes back to normal.

My whole comment is only about YouTube and more importantly AD's everywhere. Manifest V3 is all about reducing the effectiveness of AD-blocking software in general.

For now i have switched to firefox and just use the legacy version of malwarebytes and ublock.

We released v3.0.7 last night.  Could you please confirm whether that resolved your slowdowns when running uBlock Lite?

If not, could you please provide fresh logs?

yes please let me investigate further and ill let you know and supply logs ill get back as soon as i can with logs and tests. I'm also going to run youtube tests again to see if the browser guard is delayed while blocking.

Here are my new logs the slowness between both extensions have been fixed. However, the painful loading of videos on youtube make the extensions almost not useable as it waits to play the videos and is constantly buffering. The only thing needing fixing now is the video loading on youtube.

BTW, I'm sure you're aware you can turn off Ad/Tracker blocking just for YT in 3.0.7 if desired.

but that would defeat the purpose heheeeh i may switch to adguard and do just that until a fix is implemented.

I decided to watch a bit of YouTube with Chrome, with both new extensions, and did not have loading or AD issues.

odd how it is only happening on my system or select systems they will hopfully be able to see in the logs what is going on as i use the same settings as porthos.

So it appears ublock is doing the "work" after seeing porthos screenshot. i decided to test again with those exact settings and ublock blocks the advertisements but when disabling ublock Malwarebytes browser guard has issues with youtube videos constantly buffering.

Tried it the same way. Ads kind of auto-skip in a second but when the video finally starts, no buffering.

Leaving YouTube open, and trying another video, works like I am used to with both UBO and BG on.

Reporting back it seems ublock lite has solved one of the issues pertaining to blocking YouTube advertisements. You must have the settings on optimal exactly shown in portho's screenshot. I'm happy again and can finally use both in conjunction to malwarebytes browser guard instead of using adguard which uses so much resources.
