Our dear Mac community,

We are thrilled to share with you our latest update for Malwarebytes for Mac 5.4.1.

What's new:

• Brand new Malwarebytes menu:
  Now, you can have a quick-access to various actions from Malwarebytes icon without the need to open the main app. The menu allows you to:
  • Start a scan
  • Manage protection layers
  • Connect and disconnect the VPN
  • View your Trusted advisor score
  • Open the main application and settings.
• The Malwarebytes menu icon has two new status indicators:
  • A red dot appears on the icon when actions are required in the app.
  • A VPN icon appears on the icon when the VPN is on.

Issues fixed:

• Fixed an issue where the VPN kept requesting system extension permissions after the permissions had been granted.
• Miscellaneous bug fixes.

The update will be served to all Malwarebytes 5 users over the next week. If you'd like to be among the first to give it a try, check for updates via Malwarebytes app menu or download the latest version from our website
