infonutt Posted July 6 ID:1647403 Share Posted July 6 I use https://www.hoopladigital.com. On Firefox, when I log in, MB (Malwarebytes) says This makes Hoopla not work as a visual - everything is white and I can't see anything but shadows (I assume the "fill" of that is color). When I use the app Everything to search all files, the only polyfill.io I find is: polyfill.io.js in this folder C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions\oldceeleldhonbafppcapldpdifcinji\4.4.8_0\polyfills My understanding is that js stands for jason, which is a FF (Firefox) line of code - even though it is in a google chrome folder. I added the file to MB exceptions by both copying the address from my file explorer and also by following the path thru the MB app itself to the file. The behavior persists and MB will not obey/allow the exemption. Hoopla still does not work. Suggestions? Thank you! Link to post
infonutt Posted July 6 Author ID:1647405 Share Posted July 6 Not a technical issue, so did not do above. Link to post
infonutt Posted July 6 Author ID:1647407 Share Posted July 6 FYI - I added the file to MB exceptions by both copying the address from my file explorer and also by following the path thru the MB app itself to the file. I also did the same for the whole folder with the same result that it is still blocked by MB. Link to post

It is blocked by Browser Guard, not the main program. Until staff takes a look and makes a decision in the block, you will have to add both to the Browser Guard allow list. polyfill.io www.hoopladigital.com Click on the extension icon If you can not see the Browser Guard icon in the browser toolbar, click the puzzle icon and unhide or pin the icon. Staff JPopovic Posted July 7 Staff ID:1647517 Share Posted July 7 polyfill.io is legitimately blocked. Thanks! Link to post
Comnenus Posted July 17 ID:1649595 Share Posted July 17 @JPopovic What is polyfill.io doing that makes it a legitimate block? I am curious because I am hitting it on a few credible websites. Link to post
