[ RESOLVED ] Is Malwarebytes 5 already compatible with Windows 11 24H2?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'd like to know if the latest versions of Malwarebytes 5 are already compatible with Windows 11 24H2.

I know that it's a preview release (for x64), but many providers already updated their drivers to be compatible with version 24H2 (for example, Nvidia and AMD), and for the ARM platform, 24H2 is already in GA stage.

Thanks.

There is no company not even the ones you listed that are going to validate and verify that their software works and has zero issues with a beta build of Windows. That would be a ridiculous claim, as Microsoft the very next day could add or remove a feature that might possibly prevent your program or driver from working.

In general though I'm not aware of any version of Windows 11 that our program is not working. If you do find issues though, please document them and we'll be happy to review.

Again, if an issue is found, please document the details you know and grab a set of logs and make a post about it please.

To begin, please do the following so that we may take a closer look at your installation for troubleshooting:

NOTE: The tools and the information obtained are safe and not harmful to your privacy or your computer, please allow the programs to run if blocked by your system.

  • Download the Malwarebytes Support Tool
  • In your Downloads folder, open the mb-support-x.x.x.xxx.exe file
  • In the User Account Control pop-up window, click Yes to continue the installation
  • Run the MBST Support Tool
  • In the left navigation pane of the Malwarebytes Support Tool, click Advanced
  • In the Advanced Options, click Gather Logs. A status diagram displays the tool is Getting logs from your machine
  • A zip file named mbst-grab-results.zip will be saved to the Public desktop, please upload that file on your next reply

Thank you

The Chaos and Complex Systems in a Computing Platform postulate plays heavily on this subject matter.  There are just so many variables that Chaos can and often is exhibited with different software when the OS environment they run under "changes."  In fact Win11 has become so complicated and convoluted that Chaos within applications is inevitable and can be expected.
