Browser Guard blocking cookie popups mistaken for ads

On three separate websites recently the site has been selectively unresponsive, and may appear to have a 'dark glass' layer over it. I've realised that this is because Browser Guard has hidden the Cookie popup, and some aspects of the site don't work until the cookie choice has been made. Turning off 'Ads/Trackers' in Browser Guard is the workaround for that site. Now that I'm aware of it, I can use the workaround, but I assume it's affecting other users. I'm using Firefox on Windows 10.

Thank you. I've re-created the issue and it was indeed Easylist that was blocking the cookie dialog. That allows me to use the site while maintaining other blocks, but it doesn't solve the problem that sites are blocked to users who aren't aware that it's Browser Guard that's doing it. Is there anywhere I can find out more about Easylist?

I have added these two to the whitelist. Please allow around 30 minutes for the changes to take effect.

In the meantime, please try resetting the extension to see if that fixes the issue.

Click on Clear Browser Guard storage, restart the browser and then click on Check for database updates.

Blocking Easylist is blocking comments on all sites using Disqus for all users using adblockers and Malwarebytes Browser Guard. Since Easylist is used by pretty much all ad blockers, and since this appears to be a fairly recent issue, I respectfully suggest that this is a false positive issue. Easylist should not be blocked at all. Manually adding individual sites to the whitelist is ridiculous. If you/Malwarebytes have some justification for suddenly blocking it, please provide it. I've reported this to Disqus and to our site manager (https://sciencebasedmedicine.org) and observed it on https://disqus.com/channel/discussdisqus, https://disqus.com/channel/discussdisqus, and several other sites that use Disqus. I've also reported it elsewhere on this forum.
