DankeyKang Posted May 22 ID:1638091 Share Posted May 22 Quote Website blocked due to adware Website Blocked: soundcloud.com v2.6.26 | Easylist: 202405091458 Malwarebytes Browser Guard blocked this page because it may contain malicious activity. Was kind of surprised to see Soundcloud blocked on Browser Guard today. Does anyone have more information as to why? Tried searching the forum and found nothing - Thanks in advance. Link to post
Porthos Posted May 22 ID:1638094 Share Posted May 22 I tried on a couple of browsers and got no block. Do the following and see if you still have the block. If you're having issues with Malwarebytes Browser Guard you may want to try to update the program manually. Click on the extension icon If you can not see the Browser Guard icon in the browser toolbar, click the puzzle icon and unhide or pin the icon. Click the Kebab Menu -> then Support Click the Check for database updates button If still having an issue then click Clear Browser Guard Storage, Restart the Browser, and check for Database Updates again 1 Link to post
DankeyKang Posted May 22 Author ID:1638095 Share Posted May 22 Thanks for the response! I noticed this thread was moved to Chrome, but if it makes any difference, I'm using the Browser Guard in Firefox. Thanks for the helpful guide as well. I was able to do everything you said with the add-on in Firefox including clearing the storage and updating again, but the website is still blocked. Link to post

It's just https://www.soundcloud.com or any variation including help.soundcloud.com I upload and use it for listening, typically. Tried entering the URL in a private browser as well to see if it was somehow tied to my automatic log-in, but produced the same result. Maybe I should just try reinstalling the add-on, or even Firefox? 🥲 Link to post
Root Admin Solution AdvancedSetup Posted May 23 Root Admin Solution ID:1638111 Share Posted May 23 (edited) I have requested for review, but once I updated mine as shown by @Porthos I no longer get the block. Please uninstall the Browser Guard plugin. Restart the browser.
