Malware.AI.4279021111 - HwInfo32 false positive

Hi

 

My MalwareBytes Premium, in today's daily scan, just flagged "hwinfo32.exe" and "hwi_764.zip" as "Malware.AI.4279021111".

 

I downloaded hwi_764.zip from official site,

link: https://www.hwinfo.com/download/

and the files have been in my system since 11th Oct '23. So, it is not a malware.

Since i can't edit what i just posted, exported scan log comes with this reply.

Just read the correct posting rules in this subforum and i need to include the detected file as well. Hence 3rd reply to add that as well. hwinfo32.exe is inside that zip, so, no need to manually add the unpacked file which MWBP also detected.
