Advon0352 Posted April 26 Author ID:1632617 Share Posted April 26 I'm trying to update windows but like before, the following is still stuck at 0% before resulting in the following error.
Root Admin AdvancedSetup Posted April 26 Root Admin ID:1632631 Share Posted April 26 I would not worry about that specific update. It's due to a known error with the Windows Recovery and Microsoft needs to fix the tool in a future update. For now simply ignore that update Are there any other issues? Advon0352 Posted April 26 Author ID:1632705 Share Posted April 26 Windows Firewall pinged me, telling me to allow "chrome.exe". Is this a false positive by Windows Firewall? Aside from that, are there any other steps or scans I should take to make sure my PC is clean? If not then we should be good.
Root Admin AdvancedSetup Posted April 26 Root Admin ID:1632720 Share Posted April 26 If you had opened and used Chrome it may have alerted about the Firewall because we reset the firewall to defaults. But if it simply asked without you opening Google Chrome then I'd recommend you clean Google Crhome Please follow the directions from the following topic for a more extensive article on cleaning Google Chrome Resetting Google Chrome to clear unexpected issues Thank you
Advon0352 Posted April 26 Author ID:1632754 Share Posted April 26 Chrome was indeed on when the firewall prompt came up. Aside from that I don't see any other issues. If there's no other scans left to do then I believe my PC is now clean. Thank you very much for the help!
