hi everyone just installed 79 and everything went great got the new version from the updater i did a short scan the speed seems to be about the same with 78 it did 17.411 files at 2min 55 sec and with 79 it was 17.308 files at 2 min and 52 sec i been testing your program since the first beta and i have to say that i think you have a winner of a program the only problem that i had was one version put in ad and remove two entries and that was fix very fast and all other versions no problem at all i have been testing on my two computers and they have xp and i been testing with my mothers and she has vista and no problems and my sons laptop no problems just figure since it coming out of beta soon as rubber duckly said i figure you would like to know i all the machines i been testing it with once again as my other posts say i think you guys are doing a great job love you software and been teeling other people about how great it is and the support of this forum i happy to say i am glad i join and thanks for letting us test your product mrgigabyte B)

I don't understand it, some are getting speed increases, others are getting speed decreases. Back to the drawing board!

i updated mbam 0.78 from with in the program to mbam 0.79 database 222 fingerprents 10813

and did a full and quick scan the full scan finshed good with no hang at 68%

but the quick scan now seems to hang at 68% but finshes i'v put mbam as a trusted

application in the firewall and defense+ part of comodov3 and it doin't help

full scan

I expect 0.80 to be much faster that the current one. And 0.81 to be even faster. I have found most of the bottle necks of the application and have to improve them by the release time.

Ran a couple of Quick scans by this method-Comodo enable/disable and Antivir enable/disable and it shows the antivirus program slows down the scanning process the most.

Every single one of these files were 0 byte files created today. Not sure what to make of them- The only thing I've done is download MS security patches today. So I quarantined the lot of them.

Oh no, I hope this problem isn't back. Those files can be safely deleted. They were put there by MBAM. Delete them, restart your computer. Does the same thing happen after 2 scans?

After deleting those quarantined files, re-booting, and running a quick scan, there were no detections.
