Question about reusing a deactivated license key

Recommended Posts

Hello, I'm sure this question has been answered before but in reading those previous posts I'm unable to get a direct answer to my question, so thus here I am.

I simply need to know if I deactivate a license key within the account section of the malwarebytes program, will I be able to reuse that license key on a fresh install of windows, as I am upgrading crucial parts of my computer, and need a fresh install of windows.

Hello @Kevin_un1

Yes, you can, but if you leave Malwarebytes installed on that same system it will automatically attempt to re-activate within 24 hours. Please uninstall Malwarebytes from that system after you deactivate it and you should be able to use the license again on a new system.

If you do run into any issues you can also manage the license from your My Account page.
