Excessive Notification Requests preventing Log Out

Hi

We have a number of users of our website complaining that they cannot log out because  "Malaware Bytes Guard prevents me going to your next page. I get the message 'heuristics: excessive notification requests' 'May contain malicious activity'. "

This is a financial services platform, so users must be able to fully log out.

What can be done to resolve this please?

I cannot provide a screenshot, the user was unable to get one when we asked.
