Disappointed by Malwarebytes fear mongering related to identity theft

Anyone else disappointed by the email sent out the past week by Malwarebytes with the subject "Mother of all breaches"? It's all about this massive data breach, and after putting all this fear into people, they then offer to sell you their identity theft protection.  And it's "only" $15-$33 dollars PER MONTH for 5 devices.  That's not what I expected from this company.

Malwarebytes is not the only company alerting it's users about this breach. They are just simply trying to spread the message like everyone else it's simply the users decision if they want to buy the product or not. Pretty much all security companies are doing the same.
