Hello  @Josepsm98  and  :welcome:

My name is MKDB and I will assist you.

Let's keep these principles as we proceed. Make sure to read the entire post below first.

  • Please follow the steps in the given order and post back the log files.
  • Please attach all log files into your post.
  • Before we start, please make sure that you have an external backup, not connected to this system, of all private data.
  • Only run the tools I guide you to. Please don't run any other scans, download, install or uninstall any programs while I'm working with you.
  • As English is not my native language, please do not use slang or idioms. It may be hard for me to understand.
  • If you do not respond within 4 days, your topic will be closed.
  • Cracked or hacked or pirated programs are not only illegal, but also will make a computer a malware victim. Having such programs installed, is the easiest way to get infected. It is the leading cause of ransomware encryptions. It is at times also a big source of current trojan infections. If you are running any kin of illegal software on your system, please uninstall them now, before we start the cleaning procedure.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 3

Please download the suitable version of Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST) and save it to your desktop: 32bit | 64bit

@Josepsm98

We will use Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST) to run a fix. It is located here: C:\Users\JosePc\Desktop\FRST64english.exe

The fix may take some time, please be very patient and do not interfere.

Thank you.

  • Please download the attached fixlist.txt file and save it to your download folder, which is C:\Users\JosePc\Desktop\ in your case.
  • You will find the file FRSTEnglish.exe (FRST) as well in this folder.

Note: It's important that both files, FRST and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work.

  • Close all open programs and save your work.
  • Run FRST.
  • Press the Fix button only once and wait. Please be patient and do not interfere, even if FRST does not respond for some time. That's nothing to worry about.
  • Please note: This Fix will remove all temporary files, empty recycle bin and will remove cookies and may result in some websites indicating they do not recognize your computer. It may be necessary to receive and apply a verification code.
  • Please note: This step resets your Firewall settings and you may be asked later to grant permission for legitimate programs to pass through the Firewall. If you recognize the program, agree to the request.
  • If the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally and let the tool complete its run after restart.
  • FRST will create one log now (Fixlog.txt) in the same directory the tool is run.
  • Please attach this logfile to your next reply.

I doubt that this problem is related to malware. That sounds more like a hardware problem or a driver related problem to me.

But maybe @AdvancedSetup can help here.

I would like you to run the above with with FRST and attach the logfile if possible.

Okay, I do it without problems, but I had to have the PC fixed because it gave me errors in the CPU, hard drive, graphics, and Ram, and it has and everything so that what fails is the motherboard, so in a few days If you wait for me we will do the Farbar thing

  • Thanks 1

Your logfil looks good, nothing to worry about. DiscordUpdate file comes back clean.

Lets do two more steps.

1️⃣

  • Please download the attached fixlist.txt file and save it to your download folder, which is C:\Users\JosePc\Desktop\ in your case.
  • You will find the file FRSTEnglish.exe (FRST) as well in this folder.

Note: It's important that both files, FRST and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work.

  • Close all open programs and save your work.
  • Run FRST.
  • Press the Fix button only once and wait. Please be patient and do not interfere, even if FRST does not respond for some time. That's nothing to worry about.
  • FRST will create one log now (Fixlog.txt) in the same directory the tool is run.
  • Please attach this logfile to your next reply.

2️⃣

I would like you to run a tool named SecurityCheck to inquire about the current security update status of some applications.

  • Download SecurityCheck by glax24: https://tools.safezone.cc/glax24/SecurityCheck/SecurityCheck.exe
  • If Microsoft SmartScreen blocks the download, click through to save the file
  • This tool is safe.   Smartscreen is overly sensitive.
  • If SmartScreen blocks the file from running click on More info and Run anyway
  • Right-click  with your mouse on the Securitycheck.exe  and select "Run as administrator"  and reply YES to allow to run & go forward
  • Wait for the scan to finish. It will open a text file named SecurityCheck.txt Close the file.  Attach it with your next reply.
  • You can find this file in a folder called SecurityCheck, C:\SecurityCheck\SecurityCheck.txt

Also, when I look at the programs that start with Discord I realize that there are several files like conhost that when I look at the location of the file it doesn't look for it as if it weren't anywhere, that looks like a virus.

@Josepsm98

Thanks for those logfiles and your detailed feedback including your screenshots.

I'm not familiar with Discord. Let's ask @Maurice Naggar , @Porthos and @AdvancedSetup. Maybe they know if those instances of Update.exe from Discord are legit or not, because I can't see any malicious entry in the logfiles.

As I've seen in your logfiles: you have already ran ESET and KVRT, both detected nothing I guess?

In the meantime, I would like you to update a program and run a fresh FRST scan as well.

1️⃣

You should update some programs (if your still need them) or uninstall them (if you don't need them anymore):

Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x86) - 14.36.32532 v.14.36.32532.0 Warning! Download Update
Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x64) - 14.36.32532 v.14.36.32532.0 Warning! Download Update

2️⃣

  • Run FRST again.
  • Do not change any settings.
  • Press the Scan button.
  • FRST will create two logs now (FRST.txt + Addition.txt) in the same directory the tool is run.
  • Please attach these logfiles to your next reply.

This is normal for Discord. Please see the following

Why does Discord have multiple processes?
https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/225733808-Why-does-Discord-have-multiple-processes-

This is my own system with Discord running just a minute without much going on.

I doubt there is anything wrong going on but give me a moment to review the logs further.

Thank you @Josepsm98

Please follow the steps below in the order provided.

[ 1 ]

Your current DNS Servers:   192.168.1.1

Please consider changing your default DNS server settings. Please choose one provider only

DNS is what lets users connect to websites using domain names instead of IP addresses

Pick just one of these 4 providers. And be aware that you need to modify 1 time for IPv4 & a 2nd pass for IPv6

  • Google Public DNSIPv4   8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4   IPv6   2001:4860:4860::8888 and 2001:4860:4860::8844
  • CloudflareIPv4   1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1   IPv6   2606:4700:4700::1111 and 2606:4700:4700::1001
  • OpenDNSIPv4   208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220  IPv6  2620:119:35::35 and 2620:119:53::53
  • DNSWATCHIPv4   84.200.69.80 and 84.200.70.40   IPv6  2001:1608:10:25::1c04:b12f and 2001:1608:10:25::9249:d69b

[ 2 ]

You have an old Kaspersky Lab Anti-Rootkit Monitor Driver on the system that should be removed. Please download and run their removal tool.

Removal tool for Kaspersky applications (kavremover)
https://support.kaspersky.com/common/uninstall/1464

Restart the computer if the tool does not ask you to.

[ 3 ]

Please run the following fix

NOTE: Please read all of the information below before running this fix.

  • NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on this particular machine.
  • Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system that cannot be undone.

Once the fix has been completed, please attach the file FIXLOG.TXT to your next reply

Farbar program:   FRSTEnglish.exe

Save the attached file:  FIXLIST.TXT to this folder C:\Users\JosePc\Desktop\

NOTE. It's important that both files, FRSTEnglish.exe, and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work.

Please make sure you disable any real-time antivirus or security software before running this script. Once completed, make sure you re-enable it.

Run the Farbar program with Admin rights and press the Fix button just once and wait.

The fix may possibly take up to 60 minutes to complete

If the tool needs a restart please make sure you let the system restart normally and let the tool complete its run after restart.
The tool will make a log named Fixlog.txt in the same folder you ran the Farbar program from. Please attach that log on your next reply.

  1. NOTE:  This fix will run a scan to check that all Microsoft operating system files are valid and not corrupt and attempt to correct any invalid files. It will also run a disk check on the restart to ensure disk integrity.
  2. NOTE: As part of this fix all temporary files will be removed. If you have any open web pages that have not been bookmarked please make sure you bookmark them now as all open applications may be automatically closed.
                Also, make sure you know the passwords for all websites as cookies may possibly be removed in some cases, but not all cases.
  3. NOTE: As part of this fix, it will also reset the network to default settings including the firewall. If you have custom firewall rules you need to save please export or save them first before running this fix.

The following directories are emptied:

  • Windows Temp
  • Users Temp folders
  • Edge, IE, FF, Chrome, and Opera caches, HTML5 storages, Cookies and History
  • Recently opened files cache
  • Discord cache
  • Java cache
  • Steam HTML cache
  • Explorer thumbnail and icon cache
  • BITS transfer queue (qmgr*.dat files)
  • Recycle Bin

Important: items are permanently deleted. They are not moved to quarantine. If you have any questions or concerns please ask before running this fix.

The system will be rebooted after the fix has run.

Thanks
