I just paid for the full version, installed, started protection, tick in box to start with windows and it does...but the taskbar icon takes forever to appear. I like to see that icon and know that everything is running as it should be, so why the massive delay? exile360 Posted November 14, 2009 ID:158017 Share Posted November 14, 2009 Greetings JeremyWW It takes a while to load in order to allow your antivirus time to load completely to avoid any potential conflicts but you can change this behavior:Click on the Start Orb and type services.msc and press EnterClick Continue at the User Account Control promptOnce the Services window opens, scroll down the list until you find the MBAMService and double click on itClick the drop down menu next to Startup Type and select AutomaticClick the Apply button and click on OkClose the Services control panelReboot your computer and make sure everything loads ok and if it does not and you have any issues because of changing it, then do the same steps again, but this time set MBAMService to Automatic (Delayed Start) to reverse the changes Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Note that with NOD32 v4 that there shouldn't be any conflicts, and that you should be able to change the start type to automatic on the service without issues.
