Hi,

this morning I noticed that I cannot access MBAM forum anymore from any of my computers. I checked from work and is fine .That means my IP was banned.

Why I did not received any warning, anything??

Not like I am in love with MBAM, but this looks like censorship to me....

Hi,

No, I hope somebody will notice and do something to improve MBAM.

When IObit started to delete comments that irritate their moderators, MBAM was the first to blame them

Now is OK to ban a user who irritates MBAM moderators????

Yes, it is. We are not annoyed by the content of your comments. We have no problem tolerating dissent. We have an entire forum for constructive criticism and suggestions. We are annoyed by your belligerence. If you were polite, we would take you a lot more seriously. But you are not here to offer polite criticism, and we are not here to tolerate belligerence.

This is not public property. This is our digital private property, and you are trespassing on it. You are banned again.

Isn't it strange that paula has such a downer on MBAM? Personally, I think MBAM is an absolutely brilliant little program. I have just used it to kill 159 infections that a fully updated ESET Smart Security 4 did not even know were present. And one of these infections was a glaringly obvious one called 'Cyber Security' which was flashing popups in your face about every 30 seconds. How can you possibly fault MBAM if it can do things like that?

Anyway, as we say in the Sherdog MMA forums, WAR MBAM. :)

159 infections, you say? ...ermm...ever think about changing your "fully updated ESET Smart (:)) Security 4" for something with a touch more clout?....like Avira, or Avast?

:) Sorry, couldn't resist such a golden opportunity for a gentle dig! Only comes once in a blue moon!

On a serious note I just wish whoever "paula" is would just leave the community alone. Why do people have to spoil a lively and varied community that exists here with an unusually close relationship between developers, other MBAM staff and the public?

LOL. Nice one Marcus, you do have a good point there. :)

Honestly though, it wasn't actually my own computer. And the guy paid good money for his ESET stuff. However I have just convinced him to buy MBAM as well, so he should be OK in the future. :)

Ah well Paula or should i say Claudio has been unfortunetly doing this stuff for years over at the Kaspersky forums.

I am very freindly with an admin from that site and we have a cross board "Claudio watch" in effect :)

Not sure what his beef is but no doubt he has some stamina for the long haul troll.

Who knows maybe one day he will get a life but till then we are vigilant for his very unique posting style :)

Ciao for now Claudio :)
