Frg Posted October 10, 2023 ID:1594199 Share Posted October 10, 2023 Greetings! Around a month ago I noticed that my PC stopped entering the sleep or hibernation modes automatically. When I tried to do it manually, explorer.exe prevented it. I scanned my PC with a few antiviruses (Avast, Dr. Web, ESET, Malwarebytes) but all results came up clean. And only when I recently installed Malwarebyte, the pop-up message began to appear, that Malwarebyte blocked access to a website. It happens around every minute. Below I've attached FRST logs and additions, plus Malwarebytes support tool's logs, the report of a pop-up message and a report of a scan from Malwarebyte v4.6.4. Thank you and have a nice day! mbst-grab-results.zip FRST.txt Addition.txt pop-up report.txt MWBReport.txt
Solution JSntgRvr Posted October 10, 2023 Solution ID:1594223 Share Posted October 10, 2023 Hi Welcome I'll be helping you with your computer. Please read this post completely before beginning. If there's anything that you do not understand, please don't hesitate to ask before proceeding. Please take note of the guidelines for this fix: Please note that I am a volunteer. I do have a family, a career, and other endeavors that may prevent immediate responses that meet your schedule. Do note that the differences in time zones could present a problem as well. Your patience and understanding will be greatly appreciated. First of all, the procedures we are about to perform are specific to your problem and should only be used on this specific computer. Do not make any changes to your computer that include installing/uninstalling programs, deleting files, modifying the registry, nor running scanners or tools of any kind unless specifically requested by me. Please read ALL instructions carefully and perform the steps fully and in the order they are written. If things appear to be better, let me know. Just because the symptoms no longer exist as before, does not mean that you are clean. Continue to read and follow my instructions until I tell you that your machine is clean. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to ask before performing the task that I ask of you, and please wait for my reply before you proceed. Scanning with programs and reading the logs do take a fair amount of time. Again, your patience will be necessary. Let's begin... Download the enclosed file Fixlist.txt Save it in the same location FRST64.exe is saved. Start FRST (FRST64) with Administrator privileges This time around Press the Fix button and wait When finished, a log file (Fixlog.txt) will pop up and saved in the same location the tool was ran from. Please attach this file in your next reply.
Frg Posted October 10, 2023 Author ID:1594232 Share Posted October 10, 2023 Hello and thank you for your attention! I have done everything according to the instructions provided. Waited for 5 minutes after the restart, pop-ups no longer appear. I have also scanned my pc with Malwarebytes and found no threats. Currently doing a full scan with ESET Online scanner, that might take some time. Fixlog attache below. Appreciate your help! Fixlog.txt

Frg Posted October 10, 2023 Author ID:1594250 Share Posted October 10, 2023 I agree, and I have tried to locate this file when I saw it showed up in logs. Unfortunately I wasn't able to do it, because I do not have Disk F: on my PC. I have discs C;D;E;G. Disk F: is usually my USB flash drive and things like that. But it wasn't connected when the scan took place (and to be fair I haven't used any USB flash drives in months). I just checked my USB flash drive and there is no file with that name. I would appreciate your help with locating that file. I do have "show hidden items" enabled in my explorer.
