Found this and deleted, and update is working now, going to run the MB scan and HJ scans again for you
Good, that was the malware related file that was added to detection recently, but since you couldn't update, mbam didn't detect it :)

That's why I asked you to delete manually since I know it interferes with connection :)

Good, Malwarebytes deleted the leftovers :)

Please reboot so mbam can finish its job.

Then let me know how things are now.

By the way, is your Norton up to date? Because Norton should have detected this one as well though...

Norton is up to date, not sure why it did not. Things seem to be going smoothly, I really appreciate all your hard work. Anything else I should do?

Hi,

Anything else I should do?
Yes, make sure this won't happen again, so Please read my Prevention page with lots of info and tips how to prevent this in the future.

And if you want to improve speed/system performance after malware removal, take a look here.

Extra note: Make sure your programs are up to date - because older versions may contain Security Leaks. To find out what programs need to be updated, please run the Secunia Software Inspector Scan.

Happy Surfing again! :)
