Yes, but it has nothing to do with what browser you are using - it's the "settings/config" from IE that mbam update uses.

Good, that was the malware related file that was added to detection recently, but since you couldn't update, mbam didn't detect it

That's why I asked you to delete manually since I know it interferes with connection
