It has been stuck about a quarter of the way through and at the same amount of files scanned for hours. I tried to pause, cancel, quit, restart and it still "going" from the same point. Help! treed Posted September 25, 2023 ID:1591265 Share Posted September 25, 2023 I would reiterate the advice to restart the computer, and if that doesn't work I'd recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the software. brcd Posted September 26, 2023 ID:1591420 Share Posted September 26, 2023 That happened to me once. I had another program installed for malware/virus protection as well. I removed/uninstalled that program; uninstalled MWB, then re-installed. All went well. Funny thing was I had the two programs installed for nearly a year with no problems until that one time.
