Greetings :) .

Please take a look at #8 of the FAQ located here and if that doesn't fix it then please check to see if the instructions here are helpful.

Please let me know how it goes.

Thanks :)

Thank you I'll check it out, somehow when I tried to submit a sample to Malwarebytes something changed in my program.

I've uninstalled it three times then reinstalled it, I'll try as you suggest..

I checked it out, there may be something else here I recently purchased Prevx Edge,

that may be the answer. I'll try a couple things and get back to you..

Thanks for your patience..

That wasn' it, I'd check my firewall but its the same one I've been using well before this happened.

Please exclude the following files from your Outpost Firewall:

For Windows XP:

  • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe
  • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamgui.exe
  • C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamservice.exe
  • C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\rules.ref
  • C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbam.sys
  • C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbamswissarmy.sys

After that's done, reboot your PC and try updating again. Please let me know how it went.

Thanks :)

I want to thank everyone here for your support I've even have a customer support expert on this thing with

basically the same advice. I have enough anti-spyware on my machine as it is to sink a battleship..

Thanks again,

everready

Maybe sometime in the future I'll try it again. :)
