A more advanced Allow List?

Hi, can you guys add some more advanced options to the allow list section? I'm on the new 5.0.12.66 Malwarebytes version.

What I mean is even in version 4.6 when adding an application to the allow list some outbound connections were blocked (a notification appears that an outbound connection was blocked), so give us some more control over the applications that connect to the internet that we want to allow or block - be it inbound or outbound or both types of connections - I know this is firewall behaviour, and I already use the Malwarebytes Windows Firewall Control (WFC) application - so if I select an application that I want to allow to connect to the internet I expect full connection not partial or whatever, the application was not blocked by WFC but still some outbound connection blocked notification appeared from MB 4.6 - so I am not sure what's happening there.

Regarding the beta 5.0.12.66:

  • when adding the same app/exe file to both application and file/folder "types of allow" only the first added type remains saved (this was not happening in version 4.6 - both types were saved).
  • after a canceled manual scan in the scan report dialog window on the Export section at the bottom only the "Export to TXT" option works not the "Copy to clipboard" option - nothing is copied to clipboard when clicking this option (doesn't paste anything to a text file) but when navigating to Scanner / Scan tab / then at View report window on the Export option "Copy to clipboard" works - it pasted information in a text file.
