Mbam crashes, HJT will not install...

I have a few things wrong with my computer, it started with firefox not being able to restore my tabs, and crashing whenever I used google in the search toolbar. Then I noticed that AVG wasn't able to update, and that my firewall was being turned off. I've run a scan using AVG but it either crashes or doesn't find anything, and malwarebytes crashes about five seconds into the scan. I tried downloading one of the randomly named antimalware program files, but it didn't install at all. Neither did HJT. I did manage to install one 'a-squared anti-malware' program, the scan worked, and it did find some things and delete them, but after that I checked firefox and all these things, and nothing seems to have changed. I also tried using some restore points, but none of them have worked. I think this is all that's happened so far... Short of formatting the drive and restoring windows, I have no idea what to do... Please help me!

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here or here or here.

Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.

• When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
  1. DDS.txt
     
  2. Attach.txt
     

  [*]Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.

Download GMER here by clicking download exe -button and then saving it your desktop:

• Double-click .exe that you downloaded
  
• Click rootkit-tab and then scan.
  
• Don't check
  Show All
  box while scanning in progress!
  
• When scanning is ready, click Copy.
  
• This copies log to clipboard
  
• Post log in your reply.
