malwarebytes wont install

Recommended Posts

I wanted to download Malwarebyes AntiMalware and I saved it to my desktop, but when I started the download it starts up but I get a prompt box that says at the top "VbAccelorator SGrid II Control" at the top and in the middle of the box "runtime error 0" and I can only click "ok" then when I do that another box pops up that reads at the tops Malwarebytes Anti Malware then under that says "runtime error '440': Automation Error" Malwarebytes anti-malware does not fully download I guess due to these error boxes that pop up.

This happens everytime I try and open Malwarebytes anti malware program. I have the Antivirus System Pro virus as well as the Security Center virus, not sure if they are preventing me from opening Malwarebytes but would really appreciate some help. Thanks!

I also followed directions from a similar post that instructed me to download the Microsoft Visual Basic Common Controls but that did not fix he problem. I also tried saving the Code box that was suggested but my when I went to run it a black screen with writing (I think a command box) pops up and dissapears within a half second so I cannot even read it but I take it that it doesnt work either.
