Hacked Laptop

Recommended Posts

I recently purchased a new laptop. I downloaded Malwarebytes onto it. Unfortunately, a month later, someone hacked into my computer and corrupted my files to the point it was unusable. I reset the computer and Windows. When I re-installed Malwarebytes and input my serial number, I received a "you have hit your device limit" notification. This is only one device. Please advise how I am to proceed. Thank you.

When you reset Windows you create a "new" device so you need to follow the following.

Transfer your Malwarebytes subscription to a different device
