This may not work, but please give it a try

Can you please do the following?

  • Download the Malwarebytes Support Tool
  • In your Downloads folder, open the mb-support-x.x.x.xxx.exe file
  • In the User Account Control pop-up window, click Yes to continue the installation
  • Run the MBST Support Tool
  • In the left navigation pane of the Malwarebytes Support Tool, click Advanced
  • In the Advanced Options, click the CLEAN button and follow the onscreen instructions to reinstall Malwarebytes
  • NOTE: Please have patience as it can take a while to remove. The computer will need to be restarted

After the restart please do the following

  • Run the MBST Support Tool
  • In the left navigation pane of the Malwarebytes Support Tool, click Advanced
  • In the Advanced Options, click Gather Logs. A status diagram displays the tool is Getting logs from your machine
  • A zip file named mbst-grab-results.zip will be saved to your desktop, please upload that file on your next reply

Thank you

This appears to be a special version of Windows running on a Mac.

Is this a business computer?

Mod of Windows IoT Enterprise LTSC made by me to be compatible with mid-2011 Mac hardware. It's an old computer I picked up from years ago that I used to own myself.

The logs indicate that someone was also attempting to steal our software on this unit

0.0.0.0 keystone.mwbsys.com
0.0.0.0 holocron.mwbsys.com
0.0.0.0 telemetry.malwarebytes.com

Go into Recovery Mode or boot from a bootable USB disk.

Remove the following folders and files

C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes
C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes
C:\Users\home\AppData\Local\Malwarebytes
C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\mbamswissarmy.sys
C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\MbamElam.sys

Then from Windows Normal Mode you should be able to run the MBST tool to fully remove any left over Malwarebytes
