can't boot due to mbamelam.sys error

Recommended Posts

after i doing some clean up on my laptop, then restart, it eventually stuck on bsod because of mbamelam.sys error

I had try "disable early-launch anti-malware protection" it brings me to another bsod cause by vdrvroot.sys

Then i try to reset PC option and it bring me to mbamelam.sys bsod again.

doing all bootrec using command prompt also won't fix the issue. it keep looping the mbamelam.sys error.

I can't even boot into any safe mode, it keep bring me to the same bsod each time and i don't have any system restore point.

Hello @vallabark and :welcome::

The forum is sorry to read of your laptop's issue. In your next reply to this topic, please answer in order:

  1. Do you have a recent or any full system backup for that laptop?
  2. What version of Microsoft Windows is installed on that laptop?
  3. Do you have any Microsoft Windows bootable media compatible with that laptop?
  4. Do you have another Windows-based system immediately available to you?

Please take no additional remediation attempts.

Thank you.
