This is based on an article with rather vague findings, from a somewhat questionable company that seems to have thought it newsworthy to include the output of an "AI" being asked about Mac malware. The original article really isn't newsworthy, and I'm a bit disappointed that Dark Reading gave it credence.

Yes, at least for now. Should the malware in question ever see the light of day, Malwarebytes for Mac will undoubtedly rush the appropriate signatures out to prevent infection.
