"The whole interent section is unresponsive after it's shut down, I can't even go into internet settings. . Even after restarting, the internet keeps shutting off intermittently. This has been troubled me for quite a while now, and it is very annoying. Please let me know if there is a way to solve this, thanks."

This is exactly the issue I have been having, it started after I installed Privacy on the C:\ hard drive of my laptop. I am on Windows 11, using WiFi. The VPN works fine, the problem I have occurs after I disconnect or exit the application. My internet connection just suddenly shuts down without any warning and does not allow any diagnostics or Windows Settings components to be run - a reboot is the only solution.

Based on suggestions from an earlier post, I downloaded HWiNFO Portable for Windows, ran and saved the report - attached here.

To begin, please do the following so that we may take a closer look at your installation for troubleshooting:

  • Download the Malwarebytes Support Tool
  • In your Downloads folder, open the mb-support-x.x.x.xxx.exe file
