I recently purchased some software online for ECM diagnostics and the only installation option was to use Team Viewer to remote install on my PC. During installation, I took notice when the installer placed a file quickly in the setup process to be excluded in both WIN and MB - AV/Firewall. As I am aware, with some software you do sometimes need to exclude files for exceptions in Anti-Virus/Malware/Firewall.

That being said, when I changed some settings to finally get Windows Antivirus to scan the files, they came up as "Your IT administrator has limited access to some areas of this app, and the item you tried to access is not available. Contact your IT helpdesk for more information." Part of the reason I did this action was because after I had removed the file exclusion the (remote) installer had setup in my Malwarebytes Premium exclusion setting (as well).

I went ahead and unchecked "hide" in the file manager properties for the "Program Data" file and also do a complete system disk scan. As I thought, there were two files tagged by my MB scan results as .AI malware. One of the files is an .ink and the other is an .EXE - executable. After doing some searching, I am unable to see if these are indeed real threats or if I don't need to worry about them and can set them back to excluded.

Only thing I am also concerned about aside from the two files (mentioned above) is the Windows message to "contact my IT Admin" - when I am the IT Admin. This is one of my personal PC's and I should have access to all files and contents.

I was unable to attach the exact files to upload - so I just attached the flagged scan results text file. Any help/direction in figuring out these files (and how to proceed if concern should arise) would be much appreciated!
