GreenRoom_Bradley Posted May 31, 2023 ID:1570100 Share Posted May 31, 2023 (edited) Hello, I am head of product for a web application we host at https://my.greenroom.app. We use SendGrid service to send out emails for our platform. We recently had a complaint from a user who was blocked from signing up for an account on our website while using the Malwarebytes Browser guard. the website blocked was u23840811.ct.sendgrid.net. I have confirmed this to be the tracking link that SendGrid has assigned to us when we include links in our emails to go back to our application. All of our emails will include links with the above website and subdomain. Can we have this website removed from your blacklist? Thanks in advance for the time in helping. GreenRoom_Bradley Posted May 31, 2023 Author ID:1570106 Share Posted May 31, 2023 I believe it was this website that was actually blocked:u23840811.ct.sendgrid.net This is the tracking link assigned to us in SendGrid when we include links in our emails. I have confirmed that this is persistent across emails that we send. So, we sent a user that was using the Browser Guard extension an email with a link from the above domain, and when they clicked it they were blocked. I've attached a screenshot with some info hidden: Link to post
Solution thisisu Posted June 1, 2023 Solution ID:1570149 Share Posted June 1, 2023 Hello, I'm sorry but this is a valid block. I don't know much about Sendgrid but the website itself says it's a 'marketing service'. From what I have witnessed, its links cause redirect to other sites (sometimes malicious ones. You can click continue to end up at the final link, but it may be easier to email out direct links to your domain instead. Regards Link to post
