I'd like to make a good decision about ways to save brief text notes in Chrome.

My Chromebook was purchased for attending video meetings and watching streaming media. I don't use it for much else. It has MB installed and everything has run normally. Nothing is synced. I clear cache/cookies/history daily.

Now and then I'd like to save "to do" notes, or a couple sentences from websites. I just looked at options in the Chrome webstore and online. I'm confused about current, time tested apps or extensions. Help?

Thank you.

Just like there are 3M Post-It physical Sticky Notes there are Sticky Notes like applications for Operating Systems that have a similar functionality.

Thank you! It looks good so far.

I'm paying more attention to permissions and collection policies. This seems to be minimal, except for the backup feature, which then requires name or email. I'm currently taking a simple online course about app safety and security- students are encouraged to apply what they learn.

Trial run, pinned next to the extension icon and surprised by unexpected "notes." Multiple folders available, which instructions and JOKES?!? Strange stuff.

Am deleting all the extraneous pre-formatted things now. 🙄
