I was going to uninstall latest MB 5.x version. But I get a popup that ask me to uninstall and I press on that button. Later in the uninstall process the program hangs and I need to kill the process. "Svarar inte", is that the program is not responding.

I have submit the logs here, and also share an image how the tool looks like when it hangs. I wonder is this a problem for only me, or is this a problem for more people?

I use Windows 11 22H2 Pro - (OS-version 22621.1702)

Edit: Rebooting does not fix the problem.

Edit: Running mbuns.exe from %programfiles%\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware, does hang too.

Edit: If Tamper Protection is turned on. And you try to uninstall everything like this happen. Which mean Tamper Protection is the bad guy here :p

Found out why I couldn't uninstall the tool. Tamper Protection was enabled. If I disable Tamper Protection everything went fine. It would help more if the Tamper Protection would ask for a password to uninstall the tool. I didn't get any such messages. Just that MB 5x uninstaller hangs and nothing more.

Edit: I tried out MB 4.x. And set the Tamper Protection on. I didn't find protection against uninstalling in MB 5x. Only in MB 4x. The settings I had in MB 5x was disable to turn off MB 5x. I didn't find a way to disable uninstalling in MB 5x.

@unknownguy Uninstall option in Tamper Protection was intentionally omitted in MB5 Beta. We had some trouble in the past with users forgetting their password, and being stuck unable to uninstall because of it, and this generated a high amount of support tickets. We didn't want that to happen for a Beta.

Thanks for the update about Tamper Protection seeming to cause uninstaller to get stuck.

I understand that not been able to uninstall MB would increase in support tickets and forum threads.

I hope the Tamper Protection would work in the future with uninstalling MB 5x. I love to help this community, thank you guys so much.
