Problems with possible false postive.

Recommended Posts

A Scan said that I had Malware

Malware.AI.4213453967, C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\PUREVPN\DNS\DNSLEAKPROTECTOR.EXE, No Action By User, 1000000, -81513329, 1.0.69524, 7CE207F1DBBC7EADFB24348F, dds, 02297746, 3D0D05172D4F569BE114C17FCEE23152, C4069640860B32D23BC54C8D0D41AFE14860134AA8A9869832E7A5BBC70A1A47

This is a normal program I have had on my machine for years.. I submitted a ticket but it won't let me upload the file from the Malwarebytes Support Program.

How can I access my support ticket to add this file?

I tried submitting another ticket but it keeps telling me no product has been selected.

Fed up with all this hassle.

Kind regards James

It seems to have been resolved when checking on my upstairs machine with the same program it did not detect anything. So I restored the file on my other machine and it did not detect anything so it must have been a false positive.

Kind regards James.
