Why Malwarebytes is missing from latest tests by av-comparatives?

I am just curious what's the reason behind MB missing from tests done this year by av-comparatives (Real-world protection, performance, malware protection test, etc).

If we're releasing a new beta version of the software in the future, that doesn't mean we should stop testing the stable version we have now. We should continue using v4.5 for testing purposes until v5 is out of beta and ready to be tested outside of the company.

Consumer Product testing:

• PC Security Channel (TPSC)
• TestingGround (Mobile)

 

For calendar year 2023, we have decided to work closely with the testers listed above (bulleted list).

We have  worked closely with AV-Comparatives in the past but were able to correlate more product and detection technology improvements to the other third party testing institutions hence our decision to re-evaluate our third-party-testing for this year.

We encourage users & customers to look at the results of all the global testing labs before making a product buying decision.
