v2.6.2 clashing with Invision Community Fora? (ie. This forum).

MBG v2.6.2, Firefox v113.0, Win 10 20H2 build 19045.2965

I just updated MBG to v2.6.2 and noticed an immediate and drastic slowdown in the loading/display of pages on this forum.
To the point of being almost unusable if I try to load more than one page at the same time.
(Just making this post I had to wait what seemed ages for the editor entry box to open.)

As a quick test I disabled/enabled each of the sections in turn (except gTLD which I always have off anyway) but no particular one made any noticable difference.
Only disabling MBG altogether brought the loading/display speed back to normal.

Now the strangeness - This drastic slowdown only seems to be affecting Invision Community based fora.
ie. Here at Malwarebytes forum and the CCleaner forum are both affected for me, other fora I visit which run on different software are not affected, general webpages are not affected.

It's particularly noticable if I look at a sub-forum landing page and watch the member avatars loading at the right of the page.
This was about 8 seconds after I had switched to the page:

PS. I don't think that it is related but I also notice that "Check for Database Updates" in the MBG 2.6.2 Support menu returns an Error.

EDIT- Just for more info, I don't have Malwarebytes Premium running (I do have MBAE Beta running real time), I used Windows Security/Defender as my AV.

Thanks @AdvancedSetup

Factory resetting seems to have done the trick, both with the page loading speed and the check for database updates.

Strange that the speed issue was only affecting the 2 Invision Community fora though and nothing else.
