Not updating malwarebytes for x amount of time

Hello I'm having trouble with my internet it's being very intermittent and sometimes doesn't work for several hours(usually has at least some time it's not working every day)my provider says they need to lay a new cable or something but they say  it may take a couple of weeks to do if I am Unlucky  & don't have an internet connection  when I'm at home for  about say ten days could it make it more likely for a problem to occur while updating or would not make any difference 

P.S I last updated successfully a few hours ago

You will have lack of access to everything, including common malware. Unless you get hit by some brand spanking new zero day threat you should be fine

Make sure you have a good backup of all your personal data to an external USB drive.
