Real Time Protection turn off

hi,  I'm on macOS 11.7.6 Big Sur,  on an iMac 2014 model and every few reboots of my Mac I need to reactivate the real time protection

 

is this because of a Malwarebytes software issue or macOS issue,  its started happening within the last 6 months

If you open the app, it will tell you in the main window what the problem is. It may be that somehow the software has lost permissions it needs to function, which has happened to some folks with macOS system updates at times. It also may mean that something about the software is damaged.
