Malwarebytes and Crowdstrike

Good morning!

I wanted to provide some information to your engineers. Last week, I collected logs from the MWB support tool to look into an issue. The data were collected as per usual, but my enterprise’s endpoint protection solution, Crowdstrike, didn’t much care for the running of the support tool, apparently, and decided to quarantine my device from the network. I have confirmation from my enterprise IT folks that the last time I ran the support tool, About two months ago, it also was flagged, although it was called a false positive at that point. Not so lucky this go around.

 My enterprise team has told me not to run the support tool anymore, although regular MWB scans are not identified as problematic. but I thought it best to pass this info along to the team and other users. Cannot provide current support tool scans, for obvious reasons.
