Today's Article On Android Zero Day

Why does the government allow Google to get away with this? If a zero day like this was impacting major pc software and had not been patched in 3 1/2 months, those of us in the pc community would pitch a major fit. I am aware that the majority of phone users could care less, but this is not acceptable, along with the widespread policy of buy a new phone at 2 years if you ever want to see another security patch.

@moo4x I'm glad you're reading the blog and brought this up. I read it also and immediately checked to see if my (obsolete) phone had updates, it didn't. Normally, my phone tells me when there's an update and I used to get annoyed about it. After this, not true.
