emClient identified as malicious site

Recommended Posts

Not sure how to read this or what to make of it. I've used emClient for a few years now and this warning has popped up once or twice in the past. Clearly emClient is not malicious, so what do I make of this? It doesn't appear to be affecting the normal use of the application. Just thought I'd mention this and see if anyone can enlighten me :-) (Log and graphic attached.)

Much Thx

This actually a web block. I moved this to the correct section.

Something in one of your emails is calling OUT to a bad site but there is not much to go on because there is no domain or IP being logged.

Thx for the proper categorisation and info! I suspected what you're suggesting but why would a site destination or ip address not be able to be captured? To a simple end user, it looks like it's the emclient executable that's sketchy. All scans have not turned up any malware. Malwarebytes is fully upto date, always.
