ProtonVPN - Trojan Detected, Blocked IPs

Hi everyone,

Looks like Malwarebytes is erroneously detecting ProtonVPN as a trojan. Long time ProtonMail/VPN user, it's always worked great, it's open source so... I doubt this is the case.

Anyone know why this is happening?

Proton is not the "trojan" it is the IP's it connects with. This is very common with VPN's because they are also used for bad actors as well.

Hello, thanks for bringing this to our attention. We've reviewed the data from the IP range again and have determined it no longer warrants being blocked so we've disabled the block in our database.

Removal should be reflected in the next database update going out in a few hours or so.
