lovingmomof5 Posted October 31, 2009 ID:151889 Share Posted October 31, 2009 I just purchased the malwarebytes' Anti-malware electronic download and now I can not use it. It continues to say that I need to purchase. What do I do? I get no codes to load into the license.
mountaintree16 Posted October 31, 2009 ID:151894 Share Posted October 31, 2009 @ Lovingmomof5My message below is now irrelevant as we have now discovered that you did NOT purchase Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, please read through the posts below this one! Also, as a side note, when replying, please use the "add reply" button at the bottom or erase what the person said to you in your reply, as this makes the forums easier to read.Did you purchase it via the Malwarebytes website (who uses Cleverbridge to process payments) or from cnet/download.com (not sure who they use for payments)Either way, you should have an email with an ID and a Key. In order to register your product, first get the ID and the Key provided to you in the email, and then open up the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware interface, click on the "Protection" tab, and then click on the "Register" button and put in your ID and Key. mountaintree16 Posted October 31, 2009 ID:152012 Share Posted October 31, 2009 I didn't catch that Ron. Good catch. To Lovingmomof5:Please alert your financial institution immediately and say that you may be a victim of fraud. You should have your account number changed or cancelled as well. You should request your money back or file a complaint about it with your financial institution if they won't give you a refund.
Root Admin AdvancedSetup Posted October 31, 2009 Root Admin ID:152013 Share Posted October 31, 2009 But DO NOT change any passwords or access any sites that require one except here from this machine. Any changes must be made from a KNOWN CLEAN machine.
