Petera Posted February 23 ID:1556145 Share Posted February 23 I have been attempting to reinstall Winzip courier having downloaded the 2015 .exe file from Winzip but Malwarebytes has quarantined the .exe file. How can I check whether this is a false positive and it will be safe to install the file? I would attach the file to this post except as an .exe file it is not listed as an accepted file type. OpenCandy is potentially unwanted software because it comes bundled with other software or will download other software. If you really want to use it, you will have to exclude it from detections. Winzip for a while have bundled optimisation tools for PC. Many which we also detect. Plus you end up with "notification popups" advertising other stuff.
