win32/olmarik.OF.virus

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I was recommended your site by a friend who i trust so i know you guys will be able to help.

A few days ago i downloaded a program with a virus, Mcafee picked up on it and said it stopped it, Things there started to get very slow and watching the cpu reader there seemed to be a big cpu eater every 20 seconds. Cheacking my task manager it was a schost running upto 60% every 20 seconds.

I have since installed ESAT NOD 32 v4 and its coming up with win32/olmarik.OF.virus when i turn on and some other bu but wont let me remove anything. After googleing i am unable to find any with this exact name so i am sort of stuck.

Mcafee has now been removed from my system as it was unable to do anything.

Let me know what info you need about my system to kill this thing.

Thanks,

Regards

Paul
